- Trollhaugen Ski Area
Trollhaugen ski area is rated a 5 out of 10 and that is being nice. If you are a beginner skier you will have a blast here but if you are anything more advanced I suggest moving along. They do have 10 chair lifts so it makes it really convenient to get around but there isn’t enough terrain to handle that many lifts. If you are interested in ski lessons they have them and they do a very fine job. The staff is outgoing and helpful, there goal is to make sure you are enjoying your time and you can really tell.
Trollhaugen Resort is another one of Wisconsin’s small but amusing ski resorts and does have a half pipe and a terrain park. The ski runs are steep but very short and they could use some TLC. Trollhaugen Resort has a great snowmaking system so the lack of snow is not the problem. It is mainly for beginners and intermediate boarders.
