  Little Switzerland Ski Resort

website: Little Switzerland
- Little Switzerland Ski Resort
Even though this is a smaller resort you will still be able to enjoy yourselves here. if you are looking for a nice laid back family oriented mostly blue terrain then this is the spot for you. They have a bigger lodge and a very friendly atmosphere. There is one terrain park for any crazy boarders out there. Unless you really need the practice you can ski little switzerland ski resort in one day. Actually, you will start to get bored by the end of one day.

There are ski rentals and lessons. Both will not be top of the line but this is not a top of the line resort. So you definitely get what you pay for when you come here. The staff are kind and make sure you have everything you need. The ticket price is decent but it could be cheaper by how small of a resort this is.

  • Other Features:
    • 1 terrain park
    • Small family resort
    • Great for Beginners

Little Switzerland Quality of service has declined significantly over the past 10 years. Rumor has it this is the last year of skiing at Little Switzerland and that owners have sold property to a housing/condo developer.

My children learned how to ski here as it was the best deal around. Free until you turned 7 with an adult paid ticket. I spent many a Friday afternoon on the best beginner hill in SE Wisc. Now that they've grown the hill is terribly "boring".

Came in 2006 to ready a friend's child for Colorado and was shocked at the general lack of decorum i.e. profance languague among the teenagers on the hill. The girls were the worst, contantly yelling out the "f" word. Presumably, these were local kids with season passes. The under 20 staff was totally intimidated. Moreover, I never saw any ski patrol personnel on the hill the entire evening. My concerns were dismissed with a shrug. Better there be condos than this attitude.
