Ski Washington - Mt Spokane Ski Area
With only five chairs and 350 skiable acres Mt Spokane is a smaller Washington ski resort. There is a snowboard park and a halfpipe at Spokane and there is terrain for every level of skier or snowboarder. The people here are very sociable and the food at the lodge is superb. The view is excellent you could not ask for a better one. There is a big rental shop and lessons for all the first time skiers and snowboarders. Spokane has a considerable amount of night skiing and they have enough lighting to make it easy to ski at night in Washington.
You will find that the rentals, lessons, lift tickets and food are just so cheap, but the terrain here is lacking and there are better Washington ski resorts to consider. There tends to be many snowboarders here and they are not as careful as they should be, so watch out.

Skiing at Mt. Spokane - Mount Spokane is about half an hour from the heart of Spokane, and it’s a breathtaking drive up the mountain to get there, but once there, the little resort has lots to offer. Beginners will have a chance to learn on a decent sized bunny slope served by a double chair. The lodge is at the bottom where you can sit and watch while you have your lunch.
The runs are wide and usually uncrowded. Night skiing is available, and while terrain is limited, it’s enough to keep you interested for an evening. Being smaller and somewhat close to a major city hasn’t spoiled this mountain, and it retains a charming atmosphere: Your personal ‘Cheers’. My only gripe about this ski area is the ride down: if your legs are like rubber after a day of skiing this fun place, watch out for the upper turns on the access road. Some places have no railings!
