Ski Washington - Crystal Mountain Ski Resort
Crystal Mountain is a good all around ski resort and is very challenging if you know where to go. The staff are alright, they seem to get a little snooty. This ski resort is fun for the whole family. There are many locations for lodging from cabins, hotels, bed and great restaurants around too.
Crystal Mountain ski resort has great backcountry skiing for expert skiers and snowboarders with its countless acres of backcountry terrain and a shuttle 3 miles down the road that picks you up every 30 minutes. The terrain is pretty varied too with a nice mix of trees, bowls, groomers, and chutes. However, it is the accessibility of the backcountry that gives Crystal Mountain its edge. I can't think of anywhere else that offers you that much partially avi-controlled terrain that is accessed by at most an hour's hike.

Crystal Mountain -
I purchased a gift certificate online this last Christmas and when the recipient
went to use it - Crystal Mountain said it had already been used and they made
him buy a new ski lift ticket. What a rip off! When I called in to speak to the
customer service representative they said they would look into it - but in the
end they said it wasn't their fault. No apologies, no solutions, nothing! Save
yourself - Do not purchase their gift certificates online. They can very well do
the same to you! Beware!!
