North Vermont - Cochrans Ski Area
Corhrans is a downhill ski area with a cross-country atmosphere. The Cochran family opened their first rope tow in 1961 to provide skiing for their children and neighboring kids during the week. Since then the backyard training area has grown into a ski area with expanded lifts and slopes. Cochrans is Vermont's smallest ski resort and should be avoided by experienced skiers and snowboarders.

Skiing at Cochran - was the worst day of my life. They mentioned that this is a
slope for kids, but it is for babies. It has to be the worst skiing in all of
vermont. I will never go back there again.
