- Powder Mountain Ski Resort
The name fits its game! Poweder Mountain ski resort has so much powder, even a couple days after a nice storm you can still find enough powder. Skiing in powder is what you should expect here and there are areas that are groomed and they tend to not get icy. For extreme skiers, although you will find a lot of poweder here the runs do not get that steep. Families from all over will enjoy this resort, with hotels and restaurant nearby in Park City. For the younger crowd, Park City also offers good night life with quite a few bars and clubs.
Powder Mountain has a spectacular lodge that has everything that you could possibly think of. Renting is made easy here and so is learning how to ski, with the most popular staff that will teach you to ski or snowboard. The cable car makes it very easy to get around Powder Mountain, it allows access to a lot of the resort. A long weekend trip with the family will be the best way to enjoy Powdedr Mountain ski resort. So have fun in Utah's powder and be safe skiing at Powder Mountain Ski Resort!

Skiing Powder Mountain - Possibly the most underrated resort in Utah. This resort has over 5500 skiable acres, the most of any resort in the U.S. Powder Mountain racks up this acreage in an unique way. They haves runs accessed by dropping off the backside and taking the resort’s shuttle back to the base of the resort. For a few bucks extra, you can buy passes to get towed up lightening ridge by a snow cat. It is usually worth it if you are after powder.
Speaking of powder, this resort lives up to its name. With so much area and so few skiers you have better chances of getting face shots here then anywhere else in Utah.
The only downside to this ski resort is that skiers seeking steep runs found at Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons may be disappointed. There are steeps here but for the most part, the slope is more gradual. Mark
Skiing Powder - This is a mountain that lives up to its name, which is no surprise, considering which state it is in. The best thing about this Poweder Mountain is the fact that nobody goes there and they do get almost as much snow as the Little Cottonwood Canyon. This place is a literal feast on powder every day of the season. My only problem with it is there is an insufficient amount of steep inbounds terrain to keep me busy for more than a few days, but my family likes it more than any other resort simply because it is like the first hour of a powder day in Alta- all week long! The backcountry is also amazing, especially its accessibility from the in bounds terrain. But be careful! There is usually more than one rescue every year out there due to the disorienting forest that provides very few proper landmarks. As a result, don’t be surprised if the local management is hesitant about providing access. Joey Smallwood
