 Whitetail Ski Resort
Whitetail is another mountain that is close to the metro DC area. It is a popular resort for its wide blue cruisers. There are four intermediate trails at the front of the mountain that are served by a high-speed quad. This is the most popular part of the mountain, so expect long lift lines. This makes it a good area for intermediates. Like many other Pennsylvania ski areas, Whitetail does not have that much suitable terrain for intermediates. It also rends to get a bit icy.
