Camelback Ski Resort
Camelback Mountain, located in Tannersville PA., is the largest ski area in the Poconos. Its 800 feet of vertical are covered with a total of 33 trails: 15% are Expert, 24% are Intermediate, 54% are Novice and 7% are for Beginners. Thirteen lifts service these trails. Camel back has 2 High-Speed Detachable Quad Chairlifts, 3 Triple Chairlifts, 7 Double Chairlifts and one Surface Lift.
The lifts have an uphill capacity of 18, 600 people per hour, which keeps the lift lines from getting too long. Camelback Mountain has 100 percent snowmaking capability on all 156 acres of its terrain, so even when the east does not get great snow, there is still some decent skiing and riding. The mountain has great grooming because of its new Camoplast BR350 winchcat. Camelback Mountain has two terrain parks where you can practice your tricks. Night skiing and riding is offered on certain evenings.

Camelback ski area is located in the Pocono Mountains, 80 miles west of New York City via I-80 west to Exit 45 (Tannersville). Follow the signs to Camelback.
Camelback is 90 miles north of Philadelphia via the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-476) to Lehigh Valley Exit 33, then Route 22 east to Route 33 north to I-80 West to Exit 45 (Tannersville).
