- Ferguson Ridge Ski Area This ski resort is very small. There is still a lot to offer. There is terrain for every skier. But there is a great amount of terrain for the beginners. I think all the beginners can agree that this is a great mountain to learn how to ski. They also have a snowboard park and pipe. Once again it seems to be not the greatest if you are an advanced snowboarder.
The prices at Ferguson Ridge are mega cheap. You can get the whole family going for such a great deal, almost one that you could not pass up. This resort is owned by a non profit organization. It seems not to have the staff that would be needed, but it still has potential. Joseph is a nearby town with the accommodations. This is where you will find a nice place to sleep and eat.
