The trails here instill a good time for all skiing abilities. Even advanced skiers/snowboarders will find the terrain to be a little challenging. The instructors teach everything that you will need to know to become a successful skier. There is a terrain park and there is 9.5 km of cross country skiing. This makes for all sorts of activities besides just downhill skiing.
Beginners will really feel comfortable and at home when they are skiing here. This resort is not really a party resort. They really focus on skiing and only that. There is two lodges that are both old fashion but serve both do serve the purpose of a lodge. This is to make customer satisfaction and they provide everything from food to bathrooms to rentals. Lodging is also available up here. If you can get your hands on a cabin that would probably be the best way to stay.

Skiing at Belleayre - This small Adirondack mountain resort is a pretty nice ski area. It’s not overly challenging, but has some nice runs for it’s size. People are friendly there, and the beginner area is one of the biggest. The lodge is accommodating, and situated mid mountain for easy access. Parking at mid mountain, you are at the lodge. Ski down to the beginner area, or take a lift up for more advanced skiing. There is also parking at the bottom of the beginner area.
It’s a pretty good deal for your money, with lots of different terrain for all levels of ability. Bonni |
