- Ski Tamarack
Being a smaller resort this mountain is still a lot of fun. Snowboarders can stay busy in there terrain park. It may not be New York’s finest terrain park but it still has tons of jumps. There are usually no lines and the view that you get from the top of the mountain is just splendid. There is night skiing and the lighting seems to do justice. Coming here for a one day ski trip would be about all you need to ski this whole thing.

There is a great lodge with everything that is necessary. They have a ski school, ski patrol and the most friendly staff. There is town right next to this resort named Colden. Here you will find anything from gas stations to lodging to your next dinner. The ticket price alone will get you going here. It is deal that you can’t pass up. This resort is definitely a beginners ski resort. Advanced skiers most likely will not enjoy it unless they are there to watch there children. Enjoy skiing at Tamarack!
