Snowboard New Mexico - Angel Fire Ski Resort
Angel Fire is located in the southern part of the Rocky Mountains. This resort can be considered to be an all mountain resort. It is perfect for families that are just beginning there skiing/snowboarding experience. It is high enough to get the perfect amount of snow but it still can get excellent weather. Even though there is not very many chair lifts you find yourself not waiting in lines. With one terrain park more advanced skiers/ snowboarders will be very happy. If day skiing isn’t your thing they also offer some incredible night skiing. There is also night tubing if you are not interested in skiing.
With all amenities being necessary, they provide you with a full ski rental and snowboard rental shop, there is a big spacious lodge with wonderful food. In the end your whole family will have a great experience here. There are some black runs but not too many so if you are more of an advanced skier I suggest passing this resort up. The town is very small so the nightlife is basically inexistent. Enjoy Skiing at Angel Fire Ski Resort!

Skiing Angel Fire - I go to Angel Fire whenever I want to take a girl snowboarding but I don't want an ex-girlfriend to see me do it. I go to Angel Fire whenever I actually want a high speed quad and a terrain park but I don't want to leave New Mexico. The place has New Mexico's famous sunshine, but is high enough to keep the snow on its slopes well into the spring. The mountain sports two distinctly different sides and it offers fewer skiers per acre than nearly any other mountain in the world with such amenities. Most of the times I've been there, I have actually found the mountain to be incredibly peaceful and surprisingly fun to ski. The angle of their pitches is low, which is great for most beginners, and you find yourself spending next to none of your hard earned lift ticket dollar waiting in line or swinging on chairlifts. I have recommended to countless families from Texas and the southeast that they should cut the drive short and stop in Angel Fire for a quality experience that is worth every penny.
