  Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort

website: Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort
- Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort
Big Mountain in MT changed its name offcially in June to: Whitefish Mountain Resort.

Whitefish Mountain is about 8 miles north of Whitefish. This is a big resort with a big beautiful mountain. It was made for intermediate skiers, with enough skiing for every group. This resort being small still has an awesome Terrain park. The view is spectacular and the trees are huge. The people are friendly the food is good and the town is cozy.

Whitefish Mountain weather varies day by day. Some days it can be really cold and some days really warm. They do tend to close some of the terrain for the weekends, which really stinks. The chair lift lines are not very long at all. The scenery was breathtaking and the skiing was exhilarating.

This resort is a keeper. The family would truly enjoy this remarkable mountain. The staff make you feel at home and the lodge is very solid. Ski Whitefish Mountain!

Advanced Skier - 05 - One word--FOG!!!! While the hill gets 300 inches of snow you can't see it more than half the time. Nothing to do in the village--but Whitefish--7 miles away is a fun place for lodging, dining and entertainment.
