website: Turner Mountain Resort
- Turner Mountain Ski Resort Turner Mountain is 22 miles north of Libby. This place is tremendously small. If you like getting tons of exercise this is the place for you. They are getting the lodge complete and hopefully it will be ready before the season. They are working on putting in more chair lifts. This is defiantly not a place you would think about taking your family.
Almost three fourths of this mountain is black diamonds. Beginning and intermediate skiers most likely would not enjoy there time here. If a big storm came through the week, the weekend will get awesome powder skiing. Amenities are few and far between, there is a warming but heated by a wood stove, no electricity and no running water, meaning toilets if you know what I mean.
