Only an hour from the Twin Cities this family ran and family owned ski resort has 100 skiable acres of awesome terrain. This resort is very relaxing and what a better way to get some of your energy out while you are skiing down this beautiful mountain. If you are a beginning family I don’t think you could pass this place up. It also makes nice for any intermediate skiers or anyone that needs to start the season off with a fresh start. With 2 terrain parks there is just extra excitement and why more people would enjoy coming here.

If you are a more adventurous person Spirit Mountain might be the place for you. The lodge is comfortable and also very spacious. There is steeper terrain for all the more advanced skiers. The snowmaking and the grooming are also a big reason why people enjoy this mountain. There really is not a big cross breeze so even on a cold day you can still find this resort to be at a nice temperature.
