Hills Ski Area
- Hyland
Hills Ski Area This resort is known for having the best snowmaking and grooming in the Midwest. Having a good time here is just something that will make you want to come back. They should really work on putting more runs in. If you are an intermediate or advanced snowboarder you will find the Boarder Park and halfpipe more enjoyable. There are two step ups, small jumps, big jumps, long rails, short rails, and a large table top. You will find the ticket price to be a little high for what is offered as in terrain.
Most people prefer to go to the little drive to go to a better ski resort. Buck Hill is just a little farther down the road. The lodge is nice and has all the necessary amenities. Coming here after a half day of work would be the best time to come here and it would be a perfect way to just relax and calm down.
