Mountain Resort Ski Area
- Pine
Mountain Resort Ski Area When you come here you will expect a medium size resort with all an all terrain mountain. One negative connotation about this resort is that it is not opened all day. It is open from 10-4 so you really do not get your bang for your buck. They do have night skiing so you can experience the mountain on all levels. Locals love to come here because it is an easy way in to having a high-quality skiing trip. If you enjoy going backcountry skiing this resort is best for you, just don’t get caught. Ski patrol makes sure everyone is taken care of.
Lodging and food is very close with many different options. Rentals are also easy to get when you come here. There is a paddle lift for snowboarders to get to the top of the terrain park. This is easily passed up so keep your eyes open. The vert is only 500 ft which is smaller compared to some of the other resorts in Michigan. Skiing is made easy when you come here so take your family. The staff at the lesson shop is very professional and makes sure you or your child’s needs are met.
