  Indianhead Mountain Ski Area

website: Indianhead Mountain Ski Area
- Indianhead Mountain Ski Area
Over the years this resort has made a total upgrade. All around it became a better resort and they had much more to offer. There was a better staffing system, just the way they run this resort is way better. They have a day care for any children. They allow anyone over four years of age to get lessons from the instructors. Rentals are all top of the line equipment better to assist you in your learning experience. The tickets are cheap enough.

Lodging is available with hotels and motels in a small distance from the mountain. But, if you would rather stay on the mountain there is on-site condos within walking distance to one of the chair lifts. The terrain is perfect for all skiers/boarders. A cool thing about this resort is it gets pounded with snow every year. It makes it easy so its all natural snow. Snowboarders there are a halfpipe and a terrain park. The lounge has good food and is a good place to relax and get rejuvenated. They do open a lot earlier than most resorts and also close a whole lot later into the season than most other resorts.

  • Other Features:
    • Terrain Park
    • Halfpipe
