website: Cannonsburg Ski Area
- Cannonsburg Ski Area Snowboarders will appreciate that this resort does have a halfpipe and terrain park even though it might not be the greatest some damage can be done here. If you need an easy break this mountain is not so big so it makes for a nice refresher. Tickets are expensive compared to what they have to offer. For being such a small mountain you would assume that it would be a lot cheaper. There are some nice restaurants and if you’re old enough to drink there are some cool pubs to hit up.
Coming here people are really friendly and you do not need to worry about rude people. This is just a small mountain with not a whole lot of skiable terrain with very slow and old chair lifts. So when you come here know what you are getting yourself into and make sure that you know the range of this terrain. Snow quality could use a little work or they could get better snowmaking equipment. If you enjoy backcountry skiing this is a nice place to do it.
