website: Pine Knob Ski Area
- Pine Knob Ski Area This resort tends to be a busy one. There are usually tons of skiers and there usually a lot younger of age. Also ice is a problem here when it comes to the terrain. Not everything is marked correctly and the lifts seem to be really slow. It almost seems that you wait here more than you get to ski. This kind of puts a damper on the day. If you are a beginning group you will have a blast here. The top for the experts is usually icy and the reason it is so hard to get down is because you are trying to avoid falling from such icy conditions.
The staff is younger and they tend to be a little ruder. If you are coming to go to a nice resort that has really nice facilities then keep on driving. The prices are even ridicules for what they offer. Really know what you are getting yourself into before attempting to come to this resort. There is one terrain park but most people that have been here say they don’t even know where it is at. That is because it is so small or because it is so unwelcoming. You can still have an awesome day here, you have to make it for what it is.
