- Nub's Nob Ski Area With the excellent snow conditions that really is what makes this resort so popular. The terrain is just magnificent and every ability will enjoy there time here. For how simple this resort is people still get what they need out of this resort. They even have childcare if your child is just too young to learn how to ski. There is so much for everyone to enjoy with the terrain park, the halfpipes, and the 28 km of cross country skiing. The incredible staff really makes sure the mountain is groomed properly.
The ski instructors are top of the line and very professional you or your kids will be in good hands. There is a ski patrol for any problems and all staff are there to help. There is lodging and food all within the proximity of the mountain. Expert skiers you will find that there are skiing for your ability. There is moguls for anyone that need a little excitement. Skiing at Nubs Nob - is just plain fun. There are plenty of runs for intermediate
skiers, although hard core skiers might be dissapointed with a relative lack
of tuff stuff. The lake affect snow off of Lake Michigan makes for spectacular
powder days in January, and there are nice Lake Michigan views. My favorite
features are the great terrain park and a really careful job keeping the runs
well groomed. Apres ski in Petosky of Charlevoix is some of the best in the
state. Beautiful area overall.
