website: Mt. Brighton Ski Area
- Mt. Brighton Ski Area There are 17 lifts here that make it extra easy to get around. With 10 of those being surface lifts this makes it easy to get around without having to take off your skis or hike up the mountain. Everything here is old school and could use some work but all in all it is a nice facility. The staff takes care of you with rentals and lessons. There is a halfpipe and terrain park. Trees are almost inexistent so on a sunny day you are just getting blasted with the sun. On a windy day you are freezing so bring extra warm clothes.
The best reason people come here is because the access it offers from the highway. They make this place so easy to get to that most people can not pass it up. This resort may not have all the top of the line amenities but it offers a great hill to learn how to ski on and if you are a beginner you will find this resort to be very amusing. Lodging is available with hotels within minutes from the resort. The food is not the best and the rental equipment would not be considered top of the line but you can definitely get around enough to enjoy your time here.
