website: Alpine Valley Ski Area
- Alpine Valley Ski Area This resort is a great pick in Michigan for any beginner skiers that are interested in learning how to ski and that are looking for a good time while learning how to ski. There is one half pipe and one Terrain Park that are open for anyone to get better at what they already know. People just really enjoy there time here. There is great snow and it seems to be open a lot later that most other resorts. Food can be a little pricy so be prepared to spend some money or just bring a sack lunch. On a sunny day this resort is exceptional, if the weather is not the greatest I suggest bringing some extra warm clothes.
There are ski and snowboard rentals, with the top of the line equipment. Also they have great ski lessons so anyone that is interested the ski school is cool. If you have any problems the ski patrol is more than happy to go out of there way to make sure that you enjoy your time here. This resort could definitely use some TLC but overall this is a great resort to take the family to.
