Mountain Ski Area
With a base already between 12 and 20 inches, Wachusett is open and running already with four trails and three lifts operating. For season passes you will have to shell out $429 for a BRONZE or SILVER “CENTURY PASS,” or you can go with a GOLD pass for $629. The mountain also offers competitive rental rates for equipment.
“It’s one of the best places in New England to come to learn to ski and ride,” said Wachusett Employee Kat on Monday. “We offer the best service, the best food, and the best conditions all around, and last year we didn’t close until April 10th.” It is Kat’s 2nd season at the resort, and she explained that she “can't think of a single bad thing” about the experience. “All the employees just have the best attitude,“ she added. Her own favorite trails are: Smith Walton and Tent Mountain. Wachusett will feature a terrain park and half-pipe this year along with big events like the East Coast Invitational Rail Jam.
