Crescent Ski Resort This pricey mountain resort only has a few runs to offer. Like anywhere else in Iowa it is machine made snow and does not offer many ‘expert’ runs. It is a pretty good place to learn since there are packages that are affordable and always staff willing to teach you. These lessons are primarily for beginners and not too much for intermediate level skiers. Beware of the snow the Terrain Park is not well groomed.
Try Mount Crescent for a family day trip and give their instructors a chance to teach you. The coolest thing here is the night skiing and midnight madness that lasts from 9:00 PM until 4:00 am and all the trails are lit up for great night fun.
