- SolVista Silver Creek Ski Resort
SolVista ski resort is located two miles south of Granby and 15 miles north of Winter Park. Both towns are known for a multitude of outdoor activities. Granby is a full-service mountain community with a strong ranching heritage. The mountain is mainly intermediate skiing, but this place is also great for beginners. Ski in and ski out condos are available & the resorts are very welcoming with hot tubs and game rooms were a very good place to hang out at after the lifts close.
SolVista ski resort offers beauty & relaxation, but it is one of the smaller Colorado ski resorts. SolVista is a great ski resort for novice family and friends to get together for a fabulous ski trip. They provide lessons and packages, what a great place to learn how to ski or snowboard in Colorado.

Skiing at SolVista - (formerly known as Silver Creek)
- SolVista ski area is one of the finest places there is near Denver to learn to ski. Located in between Winter Park on US 40, I once lived two miles to the south. My daily plan was to ski Winter Park and Berthoud Pass in the daytime and then go to SolVista for night skiing, since they were kind enough to honor a pass from the other mountains in the region. The perfectly spaced, low-angle aspen trees that abound in the area are perfect to ski through because there are no branches to block the lights and speed control is a very minor issue. I have many wonderful reasons to thank them for stretching powder day after powder day for me and the good people of Grand County. My mother and family would like to thank them for offering the lowest priced lift tickets in the area as well as the ideal combination of sun, snow, and terrain for a developing skier.
