- - Lake Tahoe Ski Resorts - Sugar Bowl Ski Resort
Sugar Bowl is good size for a ski resort in Lake Tahoe, not too big and not too small. There is a good variety of lifts, ski runs and for those that like to get extreme, there are 2 terrain park. They also have a super pipe, but Cold Stream terrain park is where most of the boarders will be.

The lodging is very conveniently located near the gondola that takes you up to the top of the mountain. Sugar Bowl also have a special children’s section to keep your kids safe while they are learning how to ski or snowboard. Sugar Bowl is a good Lake Tahoe ski resort at a good price that does not get too crowded.

  • Other Features:
    • Superpipe
    • 2 Terain Parks

Skiing at Sugar Bowl - Sugar Bowl has it all for the family and the solo adventurer, from expert to beginner. I fully recommend it over some of the other larger ski resorts, not only for price, but for entertainment as well. Everything from the bunny slopes to the black diamonds are excellent runs that are never too crowded. The chairs are barely crowded and they are all very spacious. There wasn’t a lot of traffic which also was a big plus.

The service and the snow is pretty awesome all season round. There is a good variety of lifts and for those that like to snowboard like myself, this is a great park. I like all the different chair lifts this resort has. The ski lifts were also amazing. I would definitely go back here and would recommend this resort to anyone of my friends. The staff was all polite and treated you with the up most respect.
