The home of the Olympics. This place has a view that is absolutely unbeatable. They have a gondola for skiers and non-skiers to get around. They have everything from an ice skating rink, to cable car rides. They have dog sledding, snow tubing, wall climbing and many more activities. This place is absolutely amazing. There is stuff you can do here all year, but mainly the skiing/snowboarding is what people come here for the most. The snow is beautiful, the view is beautiful and everyone here is very nice. This place is a family place and they are very family oriented. One downfall is, is that it is so big so hundreds of people come here daily. The snow park is awesome and really fun.

  • Other Features:
    • Superpipe
    • Terain Parks
    • Night Skiing
    • Ski School with olyimpic medalist

Skiing at Squaw Valley - Home of the past Olympics! If you have the money you can ski Squaw. This place is the best place I have ever been to. There was so much to do. There were a couple of different lodges, giving every person access to the whole park. They have a Gondola that you can ride up the mountain and that takes you to an ice skating rink. The lift lines can be bad at times. The mountain still provides on the best of days, some of the finest terrain in all of North America.

I don’t think I will ever ski at such an astonishing place. I do not suggest go night skiing. This is because the lines do tend to get long, but that is simply because everyone wants to be there. There is a lot of atmosphere and ambience with lots of shops, restaurants, gondolas, ice skating rink on top, and an international flare which adds to its' charm. This is what gives this place a homey feeling. The staff is willing to go out of there way for you to make sure that you are taken care of.

Even though the tickets are expensive this is definitely the place to be. I don’t think that anyone will be unsatisfied at Squaw Valley. SKI SQUAW!!

Boarding at Squaw Valley - Squaw Valley Ski Resort is a big one, with very impressive high speed lifts and terrain that is good for all levels. The half-pipe was a bit flat and the park was not too great either. This resort is definatly geared toward skiers but on powder day snowboarders rule. Jad
