- - Lake Tahoe Ski Resorts - Soda Springs This resort is located in Lake Tahoe. This is a smaller resort aimed for beginning to intermediate skiing. One thing they do offer is a snow park for kids ten and under. This has small jumps, hills, and banks just enough to catch some air. Everything here is affordable, mostly really cheap. The staff is very gracious and is glad to see every person that walks in.

Skiing at Soda Springs - Soda Springs is a perfect spot for individuals who don't want to deal with the long lift lines and do not mind the short runs. It is fairly inexpensive and is mainly aimed for intermediate skiers. There are no crowds and no lines for the lifts. The ungrommed runs are great! It is a fun place to go for a quiet afternoon. The people there are really nice and I had a lot of fun while I was there. We had a blast when we went.
The lodge is set really nice also. They have many things for everyone to do. Personally I did not like the fact that it was so small and I could have paid the same price to go somewhere a little better. It is great for the beginners. Another awesome thing we did was went tubing. It is included in your lift ticket. Fifty percent of the runs are intermediate runs.
Overall, it's the best bargain at Tahoe!
