Description: This Mountain is located in the Sequoia National Forrest. It is about fifty miles from Bakersfield. This mountain is great for the beginning/intermediate skier. They only offer skiing/snowboarding. You are not allowed to sled or tube down anywhere on the mountain. They do not have onsite lodging, but they do have hotels no more that a half an hour away from the mountain. They have a dining area for people to sit and relax or grab a bite to eat. They also have a pro shop if you might have forget the skiing necessities like: sunglasses, Chap Stick, beanies and much more.
Shirley Meadows is all about the family. Families and friends feel very welcome at this resort.

Location of Shirley Meadows :
Getting to Mt Baldy is easy and now it's even easier with the new 210 freeway now open! When coming to Mt. Baldy it is always a good idea to carry chains in the winter and please use the turnouts to let faster traffic pass you.
