  Big Bear Ski Resort

website: Big Bear Ski Resort
- - South California - Big Bear Ski Resort
Description: At Big Bear Mountain many boarders will find themselves ending up at the terrain park. This place has over 150 jumps for them to get the ultimate experience. You can find southern California’s only super pipe. It doesn’t have its own lodging but you can stay in a hotel, motel, rental house, or condo that is still in walking distance to the resort. The snow is usually pretty fluffy and clean. They have a big vertical drop so you should be able to get a lot of skiing in, in one day.

  • Other Features:
    • 2 Terrain Parks
    • Super Pipe
    • "The Park" has 120 & 80 jibs

Skiing at Big Bear Mountain - This ski park is mainly aimed for Intermediate skiers. Actually 40% of the resort is intermediate trails. The tickets run about 49 dollars a day. The instructors make you feel welcome. They make sure you learn all the basics and take care of everyone the whole time you are there. When I went it was very sunny and I got sun burnt pretty badly. So you should be aware of the weather conditions.

The lodge is very friendly and nice. The staff treats you very well and is always making sure you are taken care of. I felt that I got a lot of skiing in when I went here. There was not that make people. It was not too packed and it was easy to get around. All the chair lifts made it easy to get around. The place was pretty simple to figure out. That was nice because I really never got lost the whole time.

I would definitely suggest this place to other people. It was fun because I went here with my friends and all of us were different ranked skiers. It fit every single one of us in every way possible.
