  Homewood Ski Resort

website: Ski Homewood
- - Lake Tahoe Ski Resorts lake tahoe ski resorts Homewood ski resort
Homewood is a fun resort for beginners, and those looking to practice their skills before moving on to bigger mountains. Homewood offers good skiing that's cheap and a beutiful scenery of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains.

This resort is one that is great for learning; with half of the resort being intermediate they make it easy to get around. It is a medium sized ski resort. There is local lodging in Tahoe City which is a couple of miles from the resort. They seem to be very into the snow and making the snow the best it can be for everyone to enjoy there time. The staff is really friendly. Another great deal they have is kids under 10 skis free with a paid adult, which is such a great deal. They have many activities and events for everyone in the family to enjoy. The lodge and restaurants in this area are spectacular.

  • Other Features:
    • Half Pipe
    • Children 10 & under ski FREE

Skiing at Homewood Ski Resort - I have skied at most ski resorts around Lake Tahoe, and Homewood is one of my favorites! You can't beat the accessibility to the slopes and lodge, the terrific price, or the great views of the lake. The slopes are varied but would not challenge extreme skiers.

Skiing at Homewood Ski Resort - Homewood is a great resort for beginners, and those looking to practice their skill before moving on to bigger mountains. Powder days are the best days to go. The backcountry off Quail Face is awesome, definitely worth the hike.

There are some bad parts about this resort. There isn’t much for the expert skier. I would definitely not recommend this to them. This resort always has the best of weather conditions. You can always count on it to be beautiful there. Every time that I have been there its been perfect from the snow depth and quality, to the hospitality provided by the staff. It also has a beautiful view of the lake. The prices are affordable and it is a great place for the family. The instructors are knowledgeable, fun, and just great at teaching.

The terrain complements the views. You will always get great skiing at Homewood!
