Mount Lemmon is located in the Santa Catalina Mountains, only an hour away from Tucson. If this resort had better conditions I think more people would be attracted to it. The harsh desert sun tends to melt a lot of the fresh snow. You can find your lodging here and there is fine dining in this area. You will find yourself enjoying the experience of the amazing desert and snow covered mountains.

The terrain is evenly varied between abilities. Lift tickets are pricy for some of the conditions that they have. You are prone to having a unique time skiing on Mt Lemmon. Make sure you have chains or 4WD before attempting to go that far up. They tend to be sticklers when it comes to safety.
