 Snowboard Alaska - Eaglecrest Ski Area
Eaglecrest is located about 12 miles from Juneau. This is one of the bigger resorts in Alaska. They have cross country skiing, 8 km of it. There is a snowboard park and pipe. There seems to be great snow and powder when you are here. The lodge is great and has great food and tons of drinks. The rental shop is also very helpful and is great for a starting family.
The staff are very friendly and are there to help with anything that is needed. This resort does not have all the necessities but it has great terrain. Everyone leaves happy because of the terrain. If you are in Alaska and have extra time this is a great resort to see and your family will love it too.
