Skiing at Le Grand Lodge Mont Tremblant - exceeded expectations by far. Have
enjoyed Breckenridge and White Face Mountain, and must admit Mont-Tremblant was
exceptional day-in and day-out.
LOVED our stay at a charming French Canadian Lodge, made of hand-hewn logs by
local artisans, first-class all the way!! Accomodations, foods, hospitality
were the best.
LOVED the dogsledding!!! A new experience we'll look forward to the next time
we head to this 4-star resort. Skiing and snowboarding at Tremblant are
excellent -- slopes not crowded, very friendly place with great ambiance. This
was a real 'escape' vacation.
Looking forward to doing it all over again. NorthAmericanSnow Fan in South Florida!

Skiing at Mont-Tremblant is a winter blast of fun for all...and I mean for all.
Enjoyed our stay at Le Grand Lodge Mont-Tremblant with 3 families, all different
levels of skiing among us, we had a terrific time, including teens taking to
snowboarding lessons, and our munchins on the bunny slopes loving their day
classes (gave us time to play the slopes!). HIGHLY RECOMMEND MONT-TREMBLANT !!
Skiing at Tremblant, this week, was amazing, unless you were a tourist. The top
part of the mountain was ok, but the bottom was death cookies. The trick is to
ski the closed part of the mountain. You see, the Tremblant employees are on
strike, so grooming is at a minimum and so are the people watching the hill. due
to this they are not running a full mountain. However, they have recieved quite
a hefty snowfall in the last little while which makes those closed runs, that
have not been touched this season (except for my crew)a haven for some
excellent, knee deep powder. i suggest the Ryan Haut on the south side, but
watch out for the bottom of the south side. rain the other day at the bottom
made an "i can't turn" crust on the snow. stick to the open runs at the bottom
of the hill(watch for traffic). If you don't mind taking two chairlifts to get
back I'd definitely suggest hitting the Superior on the north side. experts
only. You have to jump a few rivers (that actually sounds harder then it is).
finally, until they open the Soliel part of the mountain it is the absolutely
perfect end to a great day. I say its the end because you have to work for such
great pleasure. Your trip to untouched powder on Tremblant's most wind protected
peak will earn you the rights to a good 20 minute walk back to the Tremblant
Village with very little signage for direction. unless you leave a car in
Tremblant P3. then its only a 5 minute hike and if they haven't cleared the road
- which they haven't since i've been going - you could ski/board down that. its
like a bonus run. just don't forget to take a left at the lake when you get to
the bottom of the chairlift. and if you're reading this in anytime after a week
from now forget it. playtime will be over when they open the hill fully.
Bonne skiing et snowboard
