Owl's Head Ski Resort
This family oriented ski area is enjoyable for all. It is the smaller mountain range near Quebec City but still offer 44 trails. There is a quaint area with many restaurants and hotels that range in prices. There are beautiful views on the top of the mountain but try and avoid all the people.
Make sure to check the weather conditions before you go because they truly vary. Some have been lucky and great snow while others have had a week of ice. It is a simple mountain resort that does not appeal to the luxurious people. The food and service are generally good and usually there are not that many lift lines. You should know some locals here to know what to enjoy and to avoid. Since it is very simple, you should be prepared and ask around with a positive attitude. It is not the most highly recommended in the region, but there some hidden spots that people have loved, especially the locals.
