Whistler Village - Blackcomb Mountain
Blackcomb Mountain is the other half of Whistler ski resort. Blackcomb mountain is just as amazing as Whistler but offers more advanced runs than Whistler and should be noted that Blackomb mountain stays open till August. When it comes to summer skiing in north america, Blackcomb is your best bet. The super pipe is tight and there are so many opportunities here. This re should not be passed up and your family should stay at least for a week. You will not be able to even see enough of the resort with a weekend trip.
If skiing is not your thing there is so many other activities that they offer here. There's bowls of powder, tree strewn glades, moguls, terrain play parks, groomers, steeps, you name it! The runs go on forever, and you can shoot to the top in comfort, riding one of several gondolas or choose one of many high speed quads. There is lodging at the bottom of the gondola’s, this is a really nice place to stay and relax after a long day of skiing. There is about 28 km of Cross Country skiing, but most people that come here are coming for the downhill skiing. It truly doesn’t get better than this in Canada. Enjoy an incredible and magical place. Ski Whistler/Blackcomb Mountain!!

Snowboarding at - Blackcomb mountain offers some of the widest, Powder filled runs on
Whistler/Blackcomb. With new snowfall 7th Heaven and Jersey Cream will
guarantee Powder filled turns from morning until afternoon. Be careful on days
where coverage is minimal though as Blackcomb is also home to some of the
rockiest terrain around and many skiers and snowboarders have had an edge torn
out from hidden boulders.
Skiing or Snowboarding at Whistler/Blackcomb is a must for anyone living in North America, it is the biggest and the baddest place to go, bad as a in very good. Spend a week when you go. Jad
Snowboarding Whislter/Blackcomb - Without a doubt, the best ski resort in BC and perhaps Canada. Snow is always fantastic, runs are always in great shape, and they arre constantly upgrading to make things better! While Whistler has outpriced itself in the past 10 years, its still worth the extra money to ride the hills for a few days. Best of all, when the day is over, there's tons of other activities to keep you busy. At the bottom of Whisler & Blackcomb mountain are a myriad of restaurants, tons of great shops, and always a fantastic atmosphere in the Village as well. With the Olympics only a few years away, watch for all the great stuff in Whistler to get even better! Warning: Whistler can get packed, so take patience along with you! Darren
Skiing Whislter BC - Fantastic skiiing and the best part was the we went mid-week, so the crowds were pretty tame. Well, more tame than if we had went on the weekend. The road up is a little sketchy since they're doing lots of construction on it, but Whistler (and its glorious powder) is well worth the drive! When they say Whistler is a world class resort, they mean it. They seem to get the best powder around and have the best groomed runs. Take a beginner or go with some backcountry fanatics, its all there. Dave
