website: Grouse Mountain Resort
snowboarding BC Coast - Grouse Mountain Resort
With not that many skiable acres here they sure threw everythign in. There is a great terrain park and a halfpipe. This is a great place to learn how to do tons of cool tricks or just practice for perfection. There is also cross country skiing availble here. One thing you should watch out for at Grouse Mountain is the weather, it can change with a matter of minutes and usually its for the bad. So really know your weather when you come here. You can actually check it out on this website.

Grouse Mountain is a great beginner ski are with rentals and lessons. Another plus is that this ski resort is very close to Vancouver. There are still the bigger resorts a little farther down the road but for a half day of skiing, you really can't go wrong here.

  • Other Features:
    • Halfpipe/Terrain park
    • 2 Cable Cars
    • Night Skiing

Skiing Grouse Mountain - This park is pretty great since its so close to Vancouver. You can get off work and within 30 minutes, be heading up the skyride for some great post 5pm riding. The views from up top at night of Vancouver are spectacular. Grouse also has the best run names: Deliverance, Hades and the amazing Inferno! This mountain is packed on weekends since it offersso much more than skiiing/boarding. There's an ice rink, caged wolves, tons of snowshoeing, and a tasty restaurant. On a clear day, there's no better place to be than Grouse Mountain. Darren
