Silver Star Mountain is a fun ski resort and is comparable to the best ski resorts in Canada! With over 2,700 skiable acres and over 100 trails, you are able to get tons of powder skiing in trees, steeps and bumb runs. If you are a starter this is a good place for you. The prices are great and they have packages for people that need to rent, take lessons and get a lift ticket. Trained ski & snowboard instructors will make sure you or your child are safe and come out knowing way more than they or you went in.
Silver Star is a great place for the whole family. All ages will enjoy this resort, inexperienced or experienced. Many people that come here are inexperienced though. The snow glistens on a beautiful sunny day. Sleeping arrangements are made easy when you can find lodging at the bottom of the mountain in a quint Canadian town. The staff is wonderful and they make sure you have an incredible stay. That is really what makes this place as good as it is, the staff! So have fun with this resort and enjoy your time here. Skiing in Canada can't get any better.

Snowboarding at Silver Star - was quite fun even though it is not as famous as Whistler, it still had everything I was looking for in a ski resort. I have been boarding for 15 years and usually go to Whistler when i come to BC but this time i decided to check out Silver Star and Big White. Both resorts were worth the trip, but Silver Star had better night life. However it definatly seemed like a good place for the whole family. Marwan (California, July 06)
