Powder King Ski Snowboard BC - Powder King Ski Area
Powder king ski resort has tons of powder, about 500 inches of it every year. Powder King is the mountain you hit up right after a huge storm. Just like its name you get tons of it. The terrain is off the hook, there is so much skiing that can be done. It is great for more than one day. Most people usually tend to make it a trip for a couple of days. It is not necessary to stay for more than one day, you will still get a great day of skiing in. This mountain is set up for all types of skiers.

The lodge is comfy and has hot and cold beverages and food. There is couches and enough inside seating and outside seating to fit every need of the skier/snowboarder. The lift lines can be long but it is worth every second that you must wait. Obviously, weekends and holidays attracts the most people. This resort is reasonably priced when it comes to everything that you will need. Rentals, lessons, lift tickets, and food. Enjoy your time at Powder King Ski Resort!

Great out of the way resort with friendly people and amazing tree riding. Great for riders of all levels, and great access to the back country for the true deep powder hounds. And for those not so keen to head into the back country, there is plenty of powder inbounds. Contrary to other posts, the lift lines are smalls, and the infastructure is being upgraded gradually thanks to new ownership. With a dedicated staff, and diehard locals, PK is a place for powder hounds of all ages. Cornell Bond (Saskatoon - Oct 07)

Powder King ski resort - Powder King has no infrastructure, is in the middle of nowhere and a slow chairlift that stops frequently however they do have a restaurant and what they call a hotel which is comprised of Atco Trailers and shared washrooms (hostel Style). The snow conditions can be excellent when there is new snow but very hard to ski once that new snow gets a crust. This is the only mountain I have ever skied where you unload off the chair and have to climb uphill in order to ski down! Jackson Cormorant (BC - April 07)
