Big White fits this ski resort perfectly with 7,355 acres of snow covered moutnain, 2,765 of which are patrolled skiable acres. Big White is not as well known as Whistler ski resort but is still one of the best & biggest ski resorts in Canada. Big White is geared for the family and the ski school is what most people come here for. Highly trained professionals will teach you or your children how ski or snowboard. There are 6 high speed chair lifts so you can get many runs in!
.Big White is a ski in ski out resort, so after a long day of skiing just ski to your slopeside condo and in the morning wake up and jump on the mountain again. There are so many different kinds of restaurants, from Mexican, Chinese, Sandwiches and other fast food. There is always something going on here. Big Mountain is regularly expanding, but can still get busy.

Big White Ski Vacation - We just returned from one of the best Ski vacations we have ever taken at Big White. I don't understand where the earlier reviewer meant by the "hotel", there are 17,000 beds on the hill and accommodations that range from economy to world class luxury. Big White is both BIG and beautiful, with service to match. We were also impressed with the variety of programs for families. This is a hidden gem that everyone needs to check out! Skiing at Big White - From many accounts, the hotel isn't exactly the
highest of quality; however, the skiing is great. Big
White, to put it mildly, is expanding at a rapid pace.
For snowboarders, its paradise. A 500 ft pipe with 17
ft walls is just the start of this Telus-sponsored
park. And if you wan't find something to eat at one
of the 17 restaurants, you're a picky eater! Darren |
