Wintergreen Ski Area
Being a smaller resort can be really tough, all that means for us is no lift lines, cheap tickets, tons of skiing! Wintergreen is a smaller resort but you still get the big resort feeling just with less terrain. There is a huge lounge with tons of seating area. Rental shop, professional ski and snowboard school and anything else that will make your stay seem more reliable. The snowboard park and pipe is something that should not be missed out on. It is not the greatest but it seems to be a great place to learn how to ski.
There is not much night life but there is lodging and a few restaurants. If you want a bigger resort this is not the place to hit up. Beginner families are very smart for coming here. You won’t lose anyone with the resort being so small. The view is spectacular. The chair lifts seem to be a little slow, do to being a little outdated. Wintergreen is a great place to go with family and friends!
