Banff / Mt. Norquay Ski Resort
Norquay is about 5 miles from Banff. Banff is a great place to get everything you need from a grocery store, to fast food. There is lodging that is very top of the line and there are also superb restaurants. There are buses that are provided to take you from the hotel to the ski resort. The staff is very helpful and the lodge is huge. There are huge couches to make you feel more comfortable.

This is a great way to get away from the other big resorts. Those get hit pretty hard with skiers/snowboarders on the weekends. It is a great place for a weekend getaway. This is a fun resort with tons of stuff to do at night. The locals are very welcoming. I am sure your time here will not be ruined. Norquay has tons of cross country skiing, another awesome way to see the mountain. There is child care for any of those children that get sick of skiing.
