Marmot Basin Ski Resort
The terrain here seems to go into every type from beginners to advanced. The Ski school that is offered is very good. Here, they had really small classes, great tuition and the group lessons were very reasonably priced. This makes it easy for the whole family to get around easily. Jasper is the nearest town where lodging and restaurants and you get the whole town vibe there. The rooms are very warm and comfortable, with fireplaces bedrooms, kitchens and many more services.
The snow is not always the best here but the feeling that you get here makes you want to come back for more. This is a very relaxed environment and the people are not very pushy. The lift lines are always small and the prices are very reasonable. Remember, this is a big resort and so be prepared what you are getting yourself into.
