Lake Louise Ski Resort
Lake Louise is an exceptional Alberta ski resort, with 4,200 skiable acres, it is one of the biggest ski resorts in North America. To take advantage of all the terrain, there are 11 chair lifts four of which are high speed quads. Lake Louise also has the biggest and best terrain park in the area; this is where the majority of the best jumpers will be hanging out. The terrain is absolutely incredible and if ever in Alberta, do not skip out on this ski resort. The back bowl is the best place to go skiing or snowboarding, since the front side seems to get icy easily.
Lake Louise has all the accommodations that anyone would need. The on hill ski facilities are good, equipment hire is well organized and there is a range places to eat. The view that is seen from the top of this mountain is quite charming. Lake Louise offers wonderful family atmosphere and is great place for a weekend getaway. Cross Country skiing is also available here. Ski Lake Louise!

Skiing at Lake Louise - is awesome! Days after a big dump you'll still find fresh
between the trees. Head to the backside - always - for the best snow and the
best lines. Don't forget to look behind you as you're going up the chair. You'll
know what I mean when you get there!

Skiing at Lake Louise - The Lake Louise Ski Resort may be one of the most beautiful ski areas in North America. Located in the Banff National Park, Lake Louise is a blend of fantastic scenery, excellent terrain and European charm. While most people stay in the more affordable accommodations in the nearby town of Banff, be sure to take a look at the awe-inspiring Chateau Lake Louise. Like its nearby resort Sunshine Village, Lake Louise has an excellent mixture of beginner, intermediate, advanced and expert terrain.
For special fun, try the Torchlight Dinner at the Whitehorn Lodge. It includes an après-ski party with appetizers, a full buffet dinner, live entertainment and a guided torchlight ski down the mountain. Skiers where head lamps as they ski down. It starts right after skiing and runs until 8:30pm. One warning: The wine is somewhat “cheap.” If you are subject to motion sickness, don’t drink too much. You will feel it when you ski down!
